CARING, Inc., is a non-profit organization established in 1977 to provide alternatives to long-term care for seniors and respite for their families. These alternatives have been designed and implemented in order to enhance the quality of life for the aged or disabled in Southeastern New Jersey. CARING provides a holistic approach to adult day services, where mind, body and spirit are stimulated to restore and maintain the individual's enthusiasm and capacity for independent functioning. CARING also assists family members and caregivers with support and guidance.

Our Mission

It is the mission of CARING and Its Affiliates to communicate the love and work of Jesus Christ Our Lord for all peoples through serving the frail, impaired aged and disabled young adults.

These ministries reach out to accomplish the following for as many in need as possible:

Prevent institutional placement by providing community-based alternatives.
Provide respite and support for families and other caregivers.
Present a “today-worth-the-living” to the frail and impaired elderly, and disabled young adults.

Our Vision

CARING is committed to understanding the unique needs of the population we serve and continually endeavoring to meet them. By promoting primarily the concepts of aging in place, CARING will innovatively provide socialization, housing, continuity of care, transportation, nutrition, and spiritual fulfillment. CARING will continue to outreach its arms, growing and adding facilities and programs, to be able to match specific services to ever changing individual needs.

CARING is committed to providing the highest quality of care possible for our community’s residents. In striving toward that goal, CARING recognizes and stresses the value of its employees as direct and indirect caregivers and appreciates them for their unique contributions they bring to CARING and the clients we serve.

As a community based non-profit organization, CARING will be prudent with all resources. Operations of the organization will be maintained in a fiscally responsible manner with management decisions continuing ever vigilant to the financial health and perpetuation of the going concern.
